How It Works
A step-by-step look at preserving your memories together
Trusting someone with your memories can feel like a big leap. I completely understand that. That’s why I’ve made the process clear and thoughtful from the very start—so you always know what to expect before anything begins.
You’ll see each step laid out, no guesswork, no pressure. And while a short contract is part of the process, it’s simply there to protect the care and safety of your materials—not to lock you in. If you ever need to pause or shift directions, we’ll work through it together.
This is your story. I’m just here to help you preserve it.
A Note Before We Begin
Step 1:
Share What You’re Sending
Head to the Preserve Your Story page and fill out the short form. This helps me get a clear picture of what you’re sending and how I can best serve you.
You'll choose whether you're mailing your items or planning to drop them off in person. From there, I’ll take care of the rest.
Step 2:
Review Your Custom Estimate
Within 1 to 2 business days, you’ll get a custom estimate based on your project details.
There’s no pressure to say yes right away. You’ll be able to review everything in your own time and accept it online when you’re ready.
Once accepted, I’ll send a quick follow-up email with next steps.
Step 3:
Send or Drop Off Your Materials
After your estimate is accepted, you’ll receive clear instructions for how to package and deliver your photos, slides, or film.
If you’re local to Tulsa, I’ll send a link to schedule your drop-off appointment. If you're mailing your items, I'll provide tips for safe shipping.
Step 4:
Review & Pay Your Invoice
Once your items arrive, I’ll count and review everything. Then I’ll send a detailed invoice based on the actual number of items and services needed.
Your invoice will include a short contract to sign, which helps ensure the safety and care of your materials while they’re in my hands.
After your payment and signature, your project will either begin or be placed in my queue depending on current turnaround times.
If there’s a queue, I’ll send you an estimated start date so you always know where things stand.
Step 5:
Your Memories, Preserved
Once your project is in progress, you’ll receive occasional updates. I’ll keep you in the loop if anything unexpected comes up.
When everything is complete, your originals will be returned alongside your digitized files—either by pickup or mail, depending on what you chose.
You’ll also receive a thank-you message and a follow-up note a few days later inviting you to leave a review.
